The Golden Visa is an authorization to live and work in Spain, granted to non-European citizens owenrs of one or more properties in Spain for an amount of 500.000 € or more, free of charges.

MAIN ADVANTAGES:

EASILY ACHIEVABLE REQUIREMENTS. If you own one or more properties in Spain for a minimum amount of 500.000 €, you can apply for the Golden Visa at any moment. The property can be owned as natural person or with a company and any kind of real estate assets qualify (rustic, commercial, residential, garages, …). Other requirements are: Health Insurance Policy, a Clear Criminal Report, and counting with enough econmic means.

NO NEED TO LIVE IN SPAIN – AVOID THE TAX RESIDENCY. The Golden Visa does not oblige you to live in Spain, and it will be renewed without the need of staying here for a minimum period. Therefore, you can avoid the tax residency if you don´t stay here more than 183 days per year.

THE PROPERTY CAN BE USED WITHOUT RESTRICTION. You can rent the property during the periods you are not in Spain, and get high returns from your investment.

FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. Family members that can be included are: spouse or registered partner, children under 18, or over that age if they depend economically on you, and your parents in some cases.

TRAVEL FREELY IN THE SCHENGEN AREA. The Golden Visa allows you and your family to travel freely within the Schengen Countries 90 days out of 180, without the hassle of applying for a visa for each trip.

INCLUDES AN AUTHORIZATION TO WORK. The Golden Visa includes automatically an authorization to work in Spain, without the need to apply for any additional working permit.

INITIAL DURATION OF TWO YEARS. The Golden Visa is granted for an initial period of two years if applied for in Spain (one year if it is applied for at the country of residency), and it can be renewed for successive periods of five years.

FAST PROCEDURE. The Golden Visa is granted in a maximum period of 20 working days if applied for in Spain. If it is applied for in your country of residence, it should be answered in 10 days. In both cases, if the application is not resolved beneath that period, it will be considered as approved.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Owning one or more properties in Spain for an amount of 500.000 € or more, free of charges.
  • Counting with enough economic means (the salary can be included as a proof of this economic capacity).
  • Health insurance policy with an insurance company autorhized to operate in Spain.
  • Clear criminal record report.
